Melissa Morrissey
FOUNDER + DESIGN DIRECTOR
Melissa is a real estate agent turned professional stager. After completing an extensive training course on preparing homes for sale, Melissa received accreditation as a home staging and design professional. Melissa understands what drives a buyer to choose one property over another and has a mission of enhancing each and every property to its greatest potential. Her relaxed and friendly approach makes the process easy and enjoyable from beginning to end. Melissa is always looking for fresh and exciting ways to add value for agents, developers and homeowners. She has spent years following design trends to ensure the decor is always up to date.

Along with staging both the interior and exterior of a property, Melissa also has a passion for working with new construction. Her experience in designing layouts, kitchens, bathrooms and exteriors will exceed your highest expectations and help get you the highest value for your property. Alyssa DiCenzo
INTERIOR DESIGNER + MARKETING LEAD
Alyssa is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Architecture. She has an additional degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting, and further studies in Art History. Given her architectural background, Alyssa brings a unique perspective to our team. She stages a space with consideration to its structure as a whole, in order to highlight form and enhance function. With her background in the arts, Alyssa is an adventurous designer who loves to play with color. She is passionate about the marriage of art and architecture and how that is constantly shaping the design world. Beyond staging, Alyssa loves working as a Luxury Home Organizer for another beloved Boston-based company. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, exploring her unique fashion taste, and binge-watching reality television.
Jess Hannon
FURNITURE RENTAL COORDINATOR + INTERIOR STYLIST
Jess has been working with Boston Modern Staging since 2018. She has had a passion for design and organization for as long as she can remember. Jess enjoys helping friends, family, and clients with their interior design needs as well as getting their space organized and more functional. Jess has a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus in Finance. The combination of all of these skills make her a perfect fit for her role as Project Manager for Boston Modern Staging & Design. Jess is adept at furniture selection and placement, and she makes sure the jobs run smoothly with all of the client's needs met. When she's not at HomeGoods looking for new inspiration, she is busy spending time with family, friends and being the best Auntie to all of the amazing babies in her life.
Alexia Flamenco
INTERIOR STYLIST + SOCIAL MEDIA
Alexia comes from a healthcare background but always had an eye for design & interior decor. She started her instagram design page Dose of Alexia in 2017 when she first moved to Boston and had it as a hobby. After working the pandemic, Alexia decided to follow her passion and make a career out of interior decor. She started with Boston Modern Staging and Design in early 2023 when she met Melissa via Dose of Alexia on Instagram. Alexia loves being creative on social media and enjoys the process of creating content and using Instagram for marketing. Outside of work Alexia loves hosting, spending time with her husband and golden retriever Bear. She also enjoys reading, running & spending time with family and friends.
Diane Ryberg
BUSINESS MANAGER
After many years in corporate healthcare management, Diane joined her daughter, Melissa, at her company Boston Modern Staging & Design and has enjoyed tapping into her passion for decorating and design. Diane manages the administrative responsibilities for the company including scheduling and tracking the status of the average 40+ active stages.

As she began cultivating her talents in this new arena while working with realtors and sellers, she has frequently seen people struggling with clutter and organization challenges. This led her to enroll in and complete a professional organizing training program. The lessons learned have been particularly helpful when providing professional consults for our occupied staging clients.

Diane also enjoys spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren are her greatest joys. Diane has a passion for health and wellness and spends much of her free time, hiking, biking and doing yoga.
